Plan de Desarrollo Territorial Dpto. de San Miguel, El Salvador

Inypsa es adjudicataria del Plan de Desarrollo Territorial (PDOT) para el Departamento de San Miguel en El Salvador, proyecto perteneciente al Viceministerio de la Vivienda, dirección general de Desarrollo Territorial, financiado por el BID y por el FOSEP, que asciende a 1,2 millones de US $.

Dentro del área de actividad de ordenación del territorio Inypsa se ha adjudicado el PODT de la región de San Miguel donde ya ha trabajado previamente en proyectos de mejora de infraestructuras viales.

Se pretende que el proyecto integre las propuestas de desarrollo territorial, a nivel regional y local, para la mejora de la calidad de vida de los habitantes, partiendo de una mejora en la gestión del territorio, una estrategia y banco de proyectos de inversión y una instrumentación jurídico-normativa que regule y armonice al territorio.
El país sumido en una seria crisis económica y con un nuevo gobierno que acaba de tomar posesión precisa de este tipo de actuaciones que ordenen y planifiquen el desarrollo del país de manera estructurada. Los objetivos específicos del proyecto pretenden incrementar el nivel de prestaciones sociales y productivas del soporte urbano, desarrollar sistemas infraestructurales eficientes, desarrollar políticas sectoriales que aprovechen el potencial de los recursos naturales y culturales del territorio, integrar y profundizar el desarrollo de las políticas de conservación de la naturaleza como componente de estrategias de sostenibilidad y desarrollo integral, y concretar el desarrollo de una estrategia nacional de gestión del riesgo.

Inypsa lleva trabajando en El Salvador, de manera prácticamente ininterrumpida toda esta última década, en proyectos de desarrollo social y territorial. Con este contrato INYPSA continúa afianzando su posición de liderazgo internacional en este ámbito de planificación y desarrollo territorial sostenibles, lo que le permite seguir progresando en su actividad internacional en el continente americano en el ya ha ejecutado más de 100 proyectos en los últimos 10 años.
