La UNOPS confía a INYPSA el suministro, instalación y mantenimiento del nuevo equipamiento para el JFK Maternity Hospital en Monrovia, LIBERIA

La Oficina de Servicios de Proyectos de Naciones Unidas (UNOPS) ha decidido contar con la experiencia de INYPSA para la ejecución de este contrato cuyo importe asciende a 1.162.000 $ y tendrá una duración de 5 años.

INYPSA ha sido adjudicataria del nuevo equipamiento médico del Hospital Maternidad JFK, situado en Monrovia. En concreto, se ocupará de asegurar el suministro, instalación y mantenimiento de los equipamientos de laboratorio, quirófanos, urgencias, radiología, salas de partos y UCI neonatal, entre otros.

El proyecto consta de 13 lotes y tendrá un importe de 1.162.000 $. La licitación ha sido convocada por la UNOPS, la organización encargada de gestionar los proyectos, adquisiciones y otros servicios de apoyo a las agencias de la ONU.

Con esta adjudicación el Grupo INYPSA consolida su experiencia en la realización de este tipo de proyectos en Liberia, uno de los países más necesitados en el centro de África. El país africano quedó devastado tras la guerra civil, que arrasó con toda su infraestructura básica. Actualmente, INYPSA es la compañía europea más activa en Liberia en la rehabilitación de los hospitales destruidos. INYPSA tiene presencia estable en Monrovia desde hace más de un año, trabajando en la rehabilitación del Hospital St. Joseph Catholic.

La adjudicación del suministro de equipamiento al Hospital Maternidad JFK incrementa las referencias en el sector de la salud y refuerza la cartera de proyectos internacionales del Grupo INYPSA. Uno de los objetivos estratégicos del grupo se sustenta en la colaboración cercana y activa con las instituciones dedicadas a la mejora de la calidad de vida de los países en vías de desarrollo. La ingeniería multidisciplinar aportada por el Grupo INYPSA en este tipo de países, supone una herramienta esencial para el acceso universal de la población a los servicios básicos, imprescindibles para una vida digna.
